Default Quilting day (sort of)

Saw some fabric the other day in Walmart, and thought about non-stop for
a day or two.
Bought the whole bolt today. 7 yards and a smidge of beautiful blue and
white swirly smudgy batik with gold stamping on it. Once we move into
our house (mid Feb at this point), and I find my directions, it will
become a whole cloth quilted kimono for a bathrobe for ME.
It is rather light weight cotton, so I think it would be better as a
whole cloth something than pieced.

Well, it does get into the 30s and 40s (F) here at night, and we keep
the house rather cool. So the idea of a nice quilted (one layer cotton)
robe instead of a large towel after my shower is appealing.
I'd rather answer the door, get the morning paper in in a kimono rather
than a towel.
