wrote in message ... The information I offer has been available on my websites for years and more is being added constantly. If you think the information is wrong, ignore it or contest it. Hundreds of others have made a personal effort to send me their thanks for providing it and for helping them improve their skills and expand their business. My ego is just fine and needs no fine tuning or adjustment. I don't expect your support nor do I need you to "cut me a break". I have always, and will always, oppose the kind of antiquated misinformation dispensed under the misguided view "We do this way because we've always done it this way" - just as I have always, and will always, oppose the elitist attitudes towards new aspiring artisans that you so disdainfully refer to as "basement bandits". Those you chose to denigrate and insult, I chose to encourage. While you and your "associates" here work so hard to keep competition from entering the field, I work equally hard to coach and assist them into the game. I don't know what your goal is, but mine is to bring more hobbyists, more artisans, and more retailers into the glass community. You work towards your goal in your way and I'll work towards my goal in my way. Adapt or die. Ah, yes. Now I remember why it is that you are the most reviled, ridiculed, despised, and hated SOB in all of the glass industry. And you're not likely to lose that top billing anytime soon. |

What retailers? Store front stained glass retailers or people who open gift shops? I know of no stained glass retailer that has opened his/her doors with assistance from you. |

And then you cannot offer any proof or even verify what type of "retailer" they are. This is a very small industry, Mr. Brady and information, statements and even your comments travel fast. |

wrote in message ... article provides the answers to all your questions: -- That's why sales of fuse compatible glass is almost 10 times that of regular art glass? That's why there are now as many custom cabinet door panels coming out of a kiln as made on a stained glass work bench? Can you actually provide proof of any of the above? Do you fuse a 16 x 36 cabinet panel, without leading the sections together, or do you use glue? Please explain. You never answered me Dennis. I'm still waiting for any kind of proof of what you say. I'm a member of SG retailers organizations, and I have to say that not 1 has gotten any start from you. Know how I know this? when your name comes up, no one seems to know very much about you or your company aside from buying the occasional Weller #9 tip. I do believe that you teach some folks, but I can guarantee that not one of them is making a living doing plates, vases, and kilnforming. Sure you can make a few thousand selling anything from boats to plates to beads, but in 30 years doing this I have yet to see 1 person making a living doing only that. I know some wonderful artists making beautiful plates for big bucks, but not one is your student or supporting their family doing it alone. Prove me wrong... give us ONE name. -- JK Sinrod http://www.sinrodstudios.com http://myconeyislandmemories.com |

Heck, anyone can brag about anything. But when it comes to asking you to back up what you say with some proof...you can't or won't. Why brag about something if you can't prove it! If you're doing it for acceptance...you're missing the boat. |
