Quilt Guild Retreat

I spent Thursday through Saturday at our guild's Spring Workshop. What a
refreshing time!! So that's where I was on International Quilting Day. We
had an awe inspiring quilt instructor on Friday and Saturday. Claudia Clark
Meyers from Duluth, MN. On Friday we paper pieced Beauty of the Nile (one of
Claudia's patterns). On Saturday, she taught machine quilting. Claudia has
won many awards for her quilts and her quilting and quilted several of the
quilts in Quilts from The Quiltmaker's Gift. Claudia also has a line of
fabric---she brought fat quarters, half yards, and some yards, so of course
I had to have a supply of that. My souvenier from a great weekend.
