Not patchwork, but still bags. These for the wedding on Sunday.

Very nice. What were these bags used for in relation to the wedding.
As gifts for some of the main participants?
Now, the question is, can you claim the cat bed creation that is
pictured in the background of the photo?

They were for the bride and her three attandants, for lippy, powder,
Tampax, safety pins, credit card... All the things a gal needs on a
night out!

Nope! That was a gift. I have plans to make something rather splendid
when it wears out... maybe something like this:

Piggybacking because the original didn't show up (happening more and
more often lately!)
I love the red bag, wonderful texture. Interesting shape too. What's
the stiffener? Is it quilted?

Not exactly... I used some Texture Magic for the bag flap, and it ans
the back are stiffened with some heavy Vilene.

Glad you like them. they were fun to do.

They're gorgeous, Kate! I especially love the treatment on the orange
one.

The colour is a bit off: it's really poppy red. Thank you. They were a
lot of fun to make.
