I'm just weird, I guess. I don't care for wearing jewelry, it distracts me.
I made jewelry for a little while a few years ago, but the process didn't
appeal to me - I wasn't having fun making it, and I couldn't wear what I did
make, so I quit. But nonetheless I'm strongly drawn to beads. I love
miniature and sparkle in general; plus lampwork artistry, in particular,
pulls at my heart. Add to that the fact that I "know" the artist, and I
just can't resist! So here I am, with my very small, very expensive, pile
of tiny artwork, perfectly delighted.
