Another meet-up

I went to the quilt show in Columbus yesterday and met up with
Denny(kiteflyer) again and met his wife. I also met Jerry (malequilter)
and his wife. Both are very nice. Unfortunately, we didn't have a lot of
time to visit, as they both had a time frame to see the show. My foot sent
me home for a short break, then back to the show. I really wanted to
connect with Mickie, but it didn't happen this time. She leaves tonight,
and I'll be at the show again tomorrow, after taking today to rest my foot.
Hopefully next year.

Gen, we are now in Franklin, Tenn where my wife is sure is one of the
greatest fabric shops in the country. We will spend some time there
in the morning and try to get home in time to get our dogs out of the
kennel before the kennel closes.

We wore the numbers off our credit card at the show. But, I found a
lot of fabric that I had never seen in our LQSs. I don't know what I
will do with it all but it's so pretty I am just happy to have it.

You were absolutely right about the weather. We went to the Columbus
Art Festival but clouds rolled in as you predicted and so we started
rolling south.

I was so nice to meet up. Sorry that I do not have the picture yet.
I left the correct cable at home so I can not get pictures off the
camera until I get home.

Edna Carol is still amazed that all of us in the internet discussion
group are more like friends. I enjoyed the hug and look forward to
the next one.

Gen,

Fun seeing you and Jerry. Tanks so much for the suggestion of going to
North Market. Food was good and after the show we stopped again for ice
cream! Yummy for the ride home. Take care of the foot!
