Default Finished (sort of)

I've finished! Not finished the "why did I ever start this" quilt, but
finished cutting out all the butterflies and sticking them to freezer
paper and ironing the seams over.

Now I can start machine appliquéing them to the backing squares. That
will take a little while.

Then I can assemble the quilt top, the quilt sandwich, and I'm away.

It feels good to have this part finished with. If only because I can now
put away my 1930s repro scraps which have been cluttering up one corner
of the living room for weeks and driving everybody crazy (myself
included). They look nice - really pretty, just like I hoped. And DD
likes them too, which is good. If she didn't like them I'd have probably
thrown myself off a bridge.
