Anyone know what the back lower edge of a woman's jeogori (Korean hanbok jacket)
looks like? Does it have a curve like the front tends to?

Thanks!

Hi Kay

In Dress in Detail from Around the World, the little sketch shows the back
as having a curve, like the front but a tad shorter - maybe an inch or so.

Thanks! (Gotta get a copy of that title for myself, I think!). Somehow
the front looked like it needed a curved back...

It's a really beautiful book and I'm sure you would find it well worth the
money - I've spent many an hour poring over it and drooling (trying not to
get the pages wet)

Kay, who thinks good fabric stores and good book stores should have a
supply of bibs at the door...

The back is very slightly curved. The front curve is slightly longer than
the back. This Folkwear pattern shows that a little bit:
http://folkwear.com/141.html My sister-in-law had a beatiful pink one at
her engagement party, and also had a pink one for her daughter's first
birthday ("chut-tol").
