Default New card pics

Finally managed to get my Christmas/New Year's cards scanned and
uploaded. Click on the link below and look for "pocket_cards". Our
letter was folded and tucked into the pocket.

I also uploaded pics of our Halloween cards from earlier in the year.
DH designed and made "Pumpkincat" (look for both Pumpkincat_out &
Pumpkincat_in to see both the inside and outside of the card).
Halloween_cat_in/out and Halloween_pumpkin were my designs.

Sorry about that. Yahoo changed their process since the last time I
uploaded photos and now apparently defaults permissions to private
instead of public. I could see the pictures but nobody else could. It
should be fixed now. Try again :-)

Got it that time. Thanks...I would never of thought of using SU Fine Lace
with the pumpkin card but it turned out nice. I like SU Print Pattern on
the fold card too. Great job. I still haven't gotten the time to upload
some pictures of mine and don't understand what you mean by "defaults
permission to private instead of public" so don't know if anyone would be
able to see anything if I did.

When you upload photos to an album in photos.yahoo.com, there is then a
tab at the top that says "share" and one of the choices under "share"
is "permissions." If you select that choice, a dialog box pops up that
has two choices you can select from: "private" (only I can see the
photos when I'm logged in to my account) or "public" (anyone can view
it without having to be logged in to my account). In the old yahoo
photos view, my photos were by default set to "public" when I uploaded
something. They changed the software and now when I upload a photo it
is automatically a "private" photo unless I select "share" -
"permissions" - "public" after uploading the picture. That's why you
couldn't see the photos the first time. I expected the new photos to
automatically be "public" but instead the new ones I had just
downloaded were automatically "private," so while I could see them when
logged in, they were not visible to anyone else outside of my account.

So if you want to upload pictures using yahoo photos, we could see your
photos as long as you selected them and then changed the permissions
setting to "public."

Hope that helps!

Thanks for sharing your lovely work. How great to have a husband who shares your hobby.

Default Tell The Truth!

That is exactly what we said to each other. I laughed when my girlfriend
made my husband a birthday card with no less than 6 different stamps, plus
the paper, plus the ink and then said Have you seen the price of a Hallmark
card lately? 3.50. I figured she only had 60.00 invested in the card she
made.

Hi All!

When you first got hooked on stamping did you tell yourself you'd be
saving money because you wouldn't have to buy greeting cards now that
you could make your own? (I know I did!)

Learn ways to make this (almost) true in Not Just Stamping. In every
issue we have Trash To Treasure - ways to recycle things you might
throw away and use them in your art - plus other ways to stretch your
creative dollars (or pounds). http://www.notjuststamping.com/

Cheers
