Hi Kathi, I have used spray on polyurethane with no problems on pieces I've
had for 15 years. If you spray too heavily though it will get yellowish. There are some aerosols however that will not dry when sprayed on polymer clay. I found that with a clear acrylic coating. You'd do best testing it on a few small pieces first. Do check out www.glassattic.com and see what it says there as previously suggested. Can you use poly-urethane to seal larger objects/ Or for that matter smaller ones? Thanks in advance Some products look like they work well with clay but degrade over time. Polyurethane is often a problem---I haven't tried every brand, but I suggest you test before commiting to major usage. www.glassattic.com has a lot of info on finishes that work. Future floor polish is popular with many artists, but I prefer Flecto Varathane, a floor sealant that is water based.
