Depends. If you're using the Shaker threads, which aren't as
varigated, you probably can. Some of the Sampler Threads have more
variation than others. It all depends on the look you want.

Personally, I don't loop start Sampler Threads or WDW, but ymmv.

I don't use the loop start, but was curious as to why you can't use sampler
threads with this method. \

I think she's referring to Gentle Arts Sampler Threads, which are
varigated. Doubling them over for a loop start will mix the colors
along a strand.

Depending on which color thread is being used, you can either get a
nice blend of color or mud....
