Default My JAF online order

I ordered something from JAF online because I couldn't get it in the
store. I placed the order on November 17th and got it today. Even
allowing for the holiday, I felt that that was a long shipping time.

On November 27th, I ordered fabric from Fabrics.com and that got today
as well.

I was not happy with the who JAF online experience. If you remember my
previous post, they ask you if you want a $10 off coupon, the fine
print says that if you accept you are agreeing to purchase something
from one of their "partners" which will be charged to the credit card
you used at the rate of $9 a month. I wrote them about this, but
haven't received a response.

This is one of the times that I'm glad we don't have a credit card to use
online.

I ordered a pair of Gingher serrated shears from them using the 50% off deal
during the Thanksgiving Day holidays and received them almost immediately.
Glad to say I did not click on the $10 off coupon. The shears are so nice.
I've been cutting miles of fleece for shelter blankets and they do it so
well it's kind of ridiculous. Polly

We paid off and cancelled our credit cards about three months ago. The
rates are ridiculous, they monitor how you pay your other bills (when my
husband is in the hospital sometimes they're a day or two late) so they
can increase the interest, Capital One kept adding a fee for flyer
miles. It is an inconvenience if one wants to shop online, but if they
don't have an address to send a check or money order to, I guess they
just don't need our business.
