I liked your socks so much that I was inspired to try to knit them too. Ok,
I've never attempted to knit socks and I've never tried to knit on more than
two needles. I printed off the pattern from the site. But it doesn't tell me
a lot. So I hope you will help me here. I have managed to knit the ribbing
on the top of the first sock. I am about to knit the "shaft" of the leg
part. I will do it in stockinet, but are there any decreases in it? The
pattern doesn't say. When I get to the part with the cute tulip heel I'll be
asking for more help I think. :-) Anyway... here goes!

Hi Norma!!
I have NOT done the tulip socks, just saved the pattern, because I want
to knit them!
But reading the pattern now, there is nothing said about increases or
decreses(the only thing they tell us is, how to knit stripes)
I would knit stipes(or NOT stipes) as long as you wish the leg.
Then go to the point: "Both Versions" to knit the tulips.
( as you see; the chart is printed upside down, because you begin to
knit the "top" of the tulip.
Good luck!
AUD ;-)

Ok, I will knit until I get the heel done then it will be a case of "HELP"
!!!! lol I printed off another sock pattern that looks similar in the basic
pattern. I would guess that the instep might have some shaping in it. but I
will cross that bridge when I get there, I think.
