Updated Italian Needlework site
The Tuttoricamo website was updated today for those who are interested.
We've been concentrating on translating the "History", "Styles & Techniques" and "How it's Done" sections but there is english throughout the site now with less and less blank pages for english versions! http://www.tuttoricamo.com/index.asp click on the british flag for english. I'm finding that Internet Explorer (on my Macintosh) doesn't display many pages well so if you have another browser, you may have an easier time. We've taken the first steps toward a "terminology" translation, check out the "Stitch Translation" page under the heading "How it's Done". An interesting biography of Elisa Ricci (Old Italian Lace) is under the "History" heading and some neat stuff about trousseaus (for the bride AND the groom!), a human interest story called "Soldiers" and lots of other stuff... I hope this will be interesting to some of you. Jeanine in Canada |
