Thanks, Steven. Fortunately I have a machine that makes those
wonderful applique and satin sitches; otherwise with my problem hands
it would never happen!

Beautiful. Wish I could outline satin stitch like you do. So bright and

There is a very dedicated nurse/administrator who has done a LOT
(more than I could ever imagine in fact) to help me deal with the BC
surgery and treatment side effects. I made a table runner for her,
which I just finished yesterday.

Thanks, Sunny. I wish I could say I hand-appliqued it - but all the
credit goes to my Designer 1. I do love what she can do!

What a lovely and thoughtful gift. I know she'll appreciate it. I
agree with the others, the satin stitch work on those flowers makes me
jealous as can be. I can't get near that and wish I could.

I could have the machine and still not get that beautiful
work. Just figuring out all that is probably beyond me.
It just looks perfect. Wonderful!

I cannot take credit for the beautiful applique and satin
sitches...yes it was done with the embroidery machine! Specifically
my Viking Designer 1.

Bologna, Irene. I have a fine emb machine and have several friends closeby
who do too. None of us can hold a candle to your lovely creation. You are
far too modest. That table runner is exquisite. Polly

I agree. Being able to use a machine is a real talent.
That is by far the best applique work I have seen.
