Default HMS Daring - My next quilt!

For those of you who remember my efforts at quilting and my Red Sea Quilt. I
have today under the gentle directions of my lady wife ;-)) begun my next
quilt. Washed and ironed the fabrics and machine sewn the sea and sky
background together. Scary!! :-))

HMS Daring plan next. Wonder how long this one will take in the making!!
;-))

Newbie Eddie

Still! I have my RCTQ "around the world" badge to look at while I am
working!!

HMS Daring reminds me of the D-class in Malta.
Daring, Diana, Defender.
Would your be of the same class.

Great, Eddie! I can't wait to see how this one turns out. It will be
wonderful, if your last one is anything to judge by.

The old Daring Class are long gone. I served in HMS Diana during the 60's.

The new Daring Class Destroyer has been launched recently and is due to join
the Fleet in 2009 (I think). Gives me a little while to work on the Quilt!!
:-))

Thanks to all of you here in RCTQ for your encouragement. Much appreciated!

Best of luck Eddie! I hope to someday get my sewing room back. It's nice,
central location in the house and large area makes for an excellent
depository for whatever my husband moves from various rooms while he paints
and spruces things up. No complaints about the painting, it looks very nice
and I don't have to do it, but I have told him I want my sewing room back
;-) No such conflicts in your house, I'll bet ;-)
Take care,
Debi

Hi Debi

Nope I do what I am told!! ;-))

If there is any decorating to do I call in a professional to do it. :-))
Wouldn't dare interfere with Sue's quilting space!!

Just had the picture of the ship blown up and am just about to trace the
outline. Great discussions here on how to quilt the bow wave with foam etc.
