Sheep Wool & Fiber Festival
Oooo! I'm so excited! This Saturday 4/28 is my local festival
sponsored by the Connecticut Sheep Breeders Association, Inc. It's being held in a rural part of the state about an hour north of me (I live down on the coast). This is my first one. Any advice out there for me? I CAN'T WAIT! Wendy |

Ok, I'm home again. Had a wonderful time and followed lots of your
advice. I had a large bag, money, good shoes. Looked at lots before buying anything. I ended up buying very little (just some hot pink roving and a skein of beautifully dyed deep red-toned fingering wool). Next time, I'll go equiped with patterns/quantities of yarn in mind. Fun stuff! Wendy |

Wendy I had a good time at ours too....and proud of myself....no yarn but think I have completed my needle collection, one lady was selling 5 inch dps they were cheap $4.95 so picked up sizes 1,2 and 3....started a new pair of socks on the 2's, they are bamboo and a very light color, never heard of the brand ChiaoGoo. Oh and lots of alpacas.....a beautiful redbrown with her 1 month old baby.....she was soooo cute and soft. |
