Default peek at new canes

Want to see some of the canes I'm doing this week? These are all in a set of
quilt block-ish canes made with pearlized Premo colors, all mixes with either
gold or pearl white to lighten the gradations. These are not yet fully reduced,
I just placed the four blocks and got a pic. This same style is shown on the
barrettes and needlecase sets on my index page, but in the matte premo colors.

Diana, have you seen the new Leggos catalogue with all the Dora stuff? Finally,
leggos has got lots of stuff with visual appeal for the girlier builders.
They've even got bead-ish kits too....that could probably use PC componants
made at home!

Courtesy of the inlaws we have some of those cool lego sets with Dora. Its
the start of a new generation of lego maniacs in the family. I played with
them back when all we had was rectangular pieces and wheels... then came Jim
with his huge sets, curved windows and characters to add to the mix. Now
Meg.. with a popular kids character. My favorite is Swiper. ;-)
Ill have to order a catalog for her to call a wish book.

I do love mixing with the gold and pearls.....when applied to things, I'll
"pet" these canes with my finger to bring out the mica glow, then probably buff
or use Varathane.
