Default Snap Castings

Hello Group.

Are there any other online sources for castings and snap castings other than
jtv.com?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

There is a company called Snap-Tite who make cast snap settings if
that's what you mean. Firemountain Gems sells them. There's another
company too, www.tripps.com who sell ready to set settings which will
take callibrated gems.

All four of the following sell jewelry findings in addition to
Tripps. I have dealt with all for supplies of some sort. All have
excellent quality (including Tripps) and good customer service.
However, these sell findings that take more work than the "snap tite"
findings that JTV sells. The plus side of that is that they also hold
the stone much better and are much higher quality. JTV snap tite
findings are very light, springy material (hence the "snap tite").
Stones will pop out of snap tite findings fairly easily.

good luck and enjoy the making of jewelry
