Hi y'all. I'm back in the fold again after several years away. It is
so cozy and wonderful to see so many of the "old" gang here. Way back
at the beginning of time I posted as "Anne in CA". After a "rough
patch" that included divorce and many new beginnings, I posted again
as "Rose in CA". I went back to college at age 60, to train as a
Veterinary Nurse and worked full time until last June when I finally,
officially, retired.

All along the way, quilting kept me sane, even when posting online was
one straw too many. Today I finished a quilt I started hand piecing
back in 2004 when my then DH was having surgery for kidney cancer.
Just goes to show you, it *is* possible to finish a UFO -- given
enough time. [Photo is posted over on the RCTQ FaceBook page]

I hope to stick around now for a while. And maybe even meet up face-to-
face, since part of "retirement" included buying a motor home
("caravan", for those over the pond) and I am planning on traveling
around at least the west and south-west US.

Welcome home, Rose! I do remember you, and it's good to see one of our
regulars back again. Congrats on your new occupation and then
retirement. I'm happy for you.

If you ever get to the Midwest, let us know. There are several of us in
the area, and we'd look forward to a meet-up!

Hi Louise, I remember you too :-) Once we've "done" California and
Arizona-New Mexico, we just may head farther east. Will definitely let
you know.

Welcome back Rose. Hope we'll see a good deal of you now. These life
hiccups can certainly get in the way, can't they!

Howdy!

You handle(d) it well, PatS.
And look at the lovely quilts you continue to produce!

Big hugs,
