Default rctq Susan in need of prayer

Our Susan Laity Price is going to have triple by-pass tomorrow morning.
That's kind of ordinary surgery unless, of course, it's one of us. Then
it's serious. Please hold our dear friend close in your hearts and up in
your prayers. And Dave, too. I was so surprised to get the message. Susan
seems to me to be mighty young to have this to deal with. Join us. Polly

I'm holding both of them close and sending prayers.

Thanks for alerting us. I'll be thinking of Susan and her Dave tomorrow
and sending positive thoughts and prayers for them and their drs.
Keeping my fingers crossed too.

Susan's surgery took 8 hours and the drs expect her to be in the hospital
for about 10 days. Her DH says the drs say the surgery 'went well'. Please
do continue to hold her and her DH and all those caring for her in your
prayers. Polly

I'm so glad I checked in before heading to bed. I've been thinking about
Susan all day and wondering how things had gone. The 10 days sounds a
little long, but it's nice to hear that instead of hearing that they'll
send her home in a "couple of days." I'm relieved the surgery went well,
and pray for an uneventful recovery. And above all, I'm glad that
whatever symptoms she was having weren't ignored by either her or the
doctors.

I'm suspicious that Susan let her condition go because of her caring for her
fragile little mother. Ten days is an awfully long hospital stay. In
addition to prayers, I'm thinking we'll need to send food. Polly
