Default PatP needs computer help

Pat got a new computer with Outlook and Windows7 and is having a terrible time accessing the ng. I've suggested eternalseptember, since I know many of you are on that and have had no troubles. Are you using Windows7?

If anyone can help her, please email Pat directly. If you don't have her email, let me know and I'll send it to you.

TIA!!!

Joan

I got this plea from Pat yesterday:
Please do you think you could post a message to the group and ask any of my friends on there to email me so I have their email addresses? I can`t load my OE address book into Outlook, can`t get the newsgroups (yet). I've signed up with Eternal September but haven`t yet really studied it to find how to get the newsgroups I want – that`s the next plan. Half my photo etc.. disks don`t work on Windows 7 so far (principally, I think, because it`s 64 bit. About the only thing I've been able to bring into the new system is my Favourites file – thank goodness! One thing – I've had a really good clear-out of old and now defunct discs.

So, if any of you can help her, I'm sure she would *greatly* appreciate it....and she'd get your email addies at the same time!

Joan
