OT Gail is better

Hello friends,
Gail is still in the hospital but is doing better. The doctor said she
will need to go to a rehab center, not long term he said. I am going
to ask him what are they going to rehab if they don't know what is
causing the problem. I believe Gail should go to a good diagnostic
hospital like May in Rochester, Mn for the big neurological hospital in
Ohio or Madison Wisconsin is great also.

Please give a few healing thoughts for prayer for Gail, please.

Glad to hear Gail has improved. It must be so frustrating not having a

I'm not sure how the American health system works but you have to pay
yes? Does this limit the facilities you can access? What do you have
to do to get her into the diagnostic hospitals you talk about?

Prayers are heading from my direction! I do medical transcription and
have a soft spot for people with medical problems. What state do you
live in, and is Mayo really the closest place to go? There are other
places around.

A patient gets sent to rehab when they are not sick enough to stay in
the hospital but not well enough to do well at home with no supervision.
Without knowing what your wife's problem was, I can't tell you why she
is going there, but after my mom had her hip replaced and was getting
better but was living by herself and didn't have someone in residence to
keep an eye on her, they sent her to rehab as a lower level of care
until she could demonstrate that she could take care of herself.
