Default OT Broken bones (was OT Good news at my house!)

Bone Density test has been FINE every year so far. It was showing up in the
blood test. Go figure. The Sansum Drs kept saying "We'll keep an eye on it'
as they didn't know what was causing it. These Drs sent me to 2 diff
specialists and they got together and figured it out. YAY! My problem is no
milk for 22 yrs and I can NOT take a Calcium-Vit D tablet of any sort..and I
DID wear sunscreen outside...thus the NO sunscreen for 15 min in the AM
before 10 AM.

FWIW

Next time you see him ask about Vit D, even if you DO drink milk, which
is another thing that I can't do.

I take Vit D and calcium every day because I'm allergic to milk.

I probably get plenty of sun, because all of my aerobic exercise is
outside. I just can't stand doing aerobic stuff inside. So although I do
use sunscreen, I'm outside a good 4+ hours a week, plus my gardening time.
Bone density scan was great, so my doctor is satisfied with my calcium /
vitamin D intake.

Glad to hear it's working for you!

DS got engaged to his long time girlfriend yesterday! Hooray! They have
been together for about 8 years, she's been to the Peace Corps and back and
they are both in graduate school at different schools. It looks like they
are finally going to get their act together and be in the same place for a
loooooong time! We just love her, so this is great news!

Thanks Linda! I know many, many of you have already had these big events at
your houses. This is our first and we've waited quite a while.

I do both. The tendon is loose, so I fall, which gives me a sprain, and when
I hit bottom, the bone breaks. Not fun to recover from -- the bright side is
that gives me LOTS of incentive to do my exercises!

Ugh, double jeopardy! So sorry for you.
