OT Heart Association and Soy
when I am arguing with the cardiologist next time
I will keep this in mind. He says no meat so I guess even though the soy doesn't actually help with cholesterol it is keeping you from eating meat? I am ready to throw up my hands and bake a cream pie : ) Taria Jan wrote: Debra wrote in news On Thu, 26 Jan 2006 13:30:54 GMT, Jan wrote: Because I know I'm not the only one on the list with a spouse dealing with high cholesterol. http://start.earthlink.net/article/h...43d462d0_3ca6_ 1552620060123-1226111182 Jan Thanks. DH seldom uses it, but now I wonder if it's ok for him to have at all. Debra in VA See my quilts at http://community.webshots.com/user/debplayshere |

Jan Thanks for both replies Jan. I'll have DH look for that book and I'll check out the web pages tomorrow. He did try soy milk but hated it and said he'd rather stick to using cow milk. He is also lactose intolerant so he uses Lactaid to help him digest milk when he has it, which is seldom. Debra in VA See my quilts at http://community.webshots.com/user/debplayshere |
