Embroidery Machine
I'm considering buying an embroidery machine - I intend to use it just to
make quilt labels, so I'm not looking for anything too fancy or expensive. Any advice/suggestions? Best wishes for a safe and happy holiday! Cathy ********************************* Cathy Hooley Goose Tracks Quilts www.goosetracks.com |

Cathy ********************************* Cathy Hooley Goose Tracks Quilts www.goosetracks.com You can get a lot of information at alt.sewing.mach-embroider You might want to google the archives. One word of caution, once you have the machine and see what you can do with it, you probably won't limit your use to labels. There are so many other things you can do for quilts. -- Joanne @ stitches @ singerlady.reno.nv.us http://members.tripod.com/~bernardschopen/ Life is about the journey, not about the destination. |

A really good basic machine is the Brother PE180......it will do a lot of stuff easily and make your labels too----but beware.......once you start embroidering, there's no going back!! It is addictive!!!! |

I Think most people sell them used because they've upgraded. They may
have purchased a new machine from an internet dealer who doesn't take trade-ins On Sun, 21 Dec 2003 01:49:00 GMT, "J. That's great to know - thanks very much! I never thought of buying a used
machine - this will make it much easier to try out an embroidery machine without breaking the bank. Thanks again!
