Yes. We heard that, too, and thought of you both.

It would have to be some sort of super storm to stay as a
cyclone and get all the way down as far south as I am :-)
We might get a little rain and wind depending on where it
tracks and the surf will probably get a litle dangerous,
but at least so far it is staying off the coast.

Last I heard it was still a bit north of Bundaberg.

Australis is a BIG country :-) I'm a little north
of Sydney and Bronnie is a litle south of Brisbane,
but there is a LOT of country in between us.

Thanks Melinda and Pat!
Still warm and slightly windy here. The cyclone has slowed right down
near Gladstone and is expected to weaken as it tracks further south.
We may just get some stronger winds and high seas about Wednesday.
This ol' country of ours is having wacky weather in a short space of
time - bushfires, floods, earthquake and a cyclone, plus snow on the
alps very briefly when the cold front hit Victoria after the
bushfires. Sheesh.

Cheers
Bronnie

That's okay, there are some people who just don't
realise just how big this country is.

It seems that Hamish has stalled, for now..
