Default asian inspired pattern

Hello! I've been lurking here for sometime, and I must say that
there's a wealth of information here!

I was hoping someone here would be able to help me out. I'm looking
for an asian inspired pattern. Actually, I'm looking to make something
that looks like a traditional Chinese top; short top, high collar (?
don't know it's proper name!) buttons down the side. I was searching
voguepatterns.com yesterday and I could have sworn they (or mccalls)
had a pattern for a very similar top, but when I went to check today,
it wasn't there. (*cry*) Does anyone know of the pattern that I'm
talking about, or another similar pattern?

Thanks muchly!

Andrea, I don't know the pattern you mean, but you could try folkwear
(www.folkwear.com) or ethnicpatterns (http://www.ethnicpatterns.com).

Could you have been looking at Vogue 7747 (look at the line drawing, not
the photo)?

The collar is referred to as a Mandarin collar. Dresses with Mandarin
collars are called "Cheongsam" (long dress).

Did someone mention Vogue 7263? This is Mandarin-styled, but more
tunic-like:
