Default More organizing of supplies

I'm an organization junkie, I'll admit it, but I don't like to waste
what little stamping time I have hunting for supplies, so a week or so
ago, I embarked on some organizational endeavors. I don't have a lot
of space, and must stamp in my kitchen, so the supplies also had to be
easily portable from the spare bedroom, where everything is stored, to
the kitchen.

I have one plastic tool box which houses all of my inks (mostly small
1" square pads), glitters, and embossing powders.

A second tool box now houses other small supplies (bone folder,
markers, punches, paint brushes, dry embossing stuff, glitter glue,
adhesive dots/tape, etc.).

All other supplies are on a small utility cart (has casters/wheels)
that has four shelves. It's small - about 3' high, shelves approx. 9"
x 14". Supplies include fiskars circle/shape cutters and templates,
embellishments, all stamps (admittedly not super easy to access as they
are in baskets except for the Stampin'Up plastic boxes, but I don't
have space to keep them spread out), baby wipes, eyelet kit, big
ColorBox special edition multi-color pad, etc..

My cardstock is in a wheeled file cart I bought for $10 in office
supplies at Wal-Mart. Each color is in a hanging folder (a few large
bulk stacks had to be stacked on the shelf on the bottom of the cart).
If I have scraps, those go in a manila pocket folder in the hanging
folder. Now I can see all of my colors, and I can easily see if I have
a scrap of the right size before cutting into a new sheet of cardstock.
I do have one folder for colors where I only have 1-2 sheets of a
color, since I couldn't see the sense of a whole folder for one piece
of paper or cardstock. Envelopes are also on the shelf at the bottom
of the cart, as is my acetate sheets and sticker paper.

Wow, you sound so organized Barbra! I"m impressed. Seems like I'm always
trying to find a "better" way to organize. Think I've found it, now just
have to find more time! LOL
