You are replying correctly. However, this newsgroup is different from many
others, because it is moderated. What that means is that your messages do not
go directly to the newsgroup when you send them. Instead, they come to me (the
moderator) for approval first. I make sure the messages are on topic, and
follow the rules for this group, and then I post them to the group. So there is
a delay between when you send messages and when they appear. This can be as
much as a full day, depending on how often and when I check for new messages.
Usually, I try to process new messages several times per day.

The rules for this group are pretty simple. First, this is a group intended for
discussion of jewelry related topics. it is NOT intended for selling jewelry or
advertising. So most advertisements for jewelry are not allowed. Some limited
advertising for things that people who make jewelry might want, can be allowed.
That includes used tools and equipment, used books, unusual materials, or things
of that sort. But in general, most advertising isn't allowed. Postings also
must be in plain text format, without graphics or HTML formatting. And the
group does not allow abusive postings such as "flames" or fights of the type
often called "flame wars".
