Okay, so we finally have a day where nearly everyone in the house is
back to being 100% healthy. "the boys" wanted to go to a train/hobby
shop, so "the girls" went to hunt up 1 or 2 somewhat LQSs. We ended up
only going to 1 but...Oh MY!!!

It's called Patchwork PLus in Dayton, VA and is just fabulous!!!

Mom got some patterns (they also sell a bit of apparel fabric and the
associated patterns, but are discontinuing McCalls, so they were
selling them for $1 each!!), DD played with various fabrics and said,
"Hi Man" to everybody she saw (all women, btw sigh).

I bought TONS of FQs, and 4.5 yards total of some really bright fabrics
to get put into MY, don't you even think about using it,
quilt...lol...total...um, less than $90, but more than $80...way more
than I had intended. However, they are my new favorite store. The one
that is 5 minutes away is still top when it comes to location, but I
will drive to Dayton if I really need some inspiration.

Larisa

FQs for the Twisting star quilt (MBR)
FQs for K, QofS banner
FQs for stash because I noticed a considerable lack of reds
FQs for the starry starry night swap, shosuld I get a little less
bogged down
1/2 yards and an FQ for MY quilt (sewing/quilting themed, hopefully the
kids and DH won't take it from me!!)

Sounds like a great haul Larisa! Isn't it great to find a store that
just infuses you all the way through with that must have/must make
creative juice?

Enjoy fondling your new finds!

Larisa,

What day were you there? I was there last friday with my neighbor, her
Bernina was having it's annual checkup. I bought my Bernina from them
when they were "The Clothes Line", you get free service for five
years. We looked, we bought, we went to lunch at the market (at the
bottom of the hill). We climbed back up the hill and looked some more,
we bought some more! Did you put your name and e-mail on their list,
Phyllis sends out a weekly news letter.

We were there yesterday. I "just" discovered it sigh. Didn't get to
the market, hard to get a lot done with a 2yo trying to make her color
choices known LOUDLY to anyone that will listen (while also telling them
that she was eating candy...old roll of lifesavers, but at least it
quieted her down a bit)

Will probably try to make it there once a month or so, even if it is
just ot look. They made it *very* clear that they were missing a good
portion of their stock due to the show in Hampton Roads (I think that
was where it was).

Larisa, who will make sure to post before the next drive over
