Default Line counter

My DH has just bought us (daughter Jane and myself) a Pako needle orgasniser
each. While I was looking at Sew and So`s site, I spotted the Line counter
(a sort of plasttic magnifying thingy). Does anyone have it, like it/hate
it? Is it worth getting?

I have a line magnifier thingy, but confess that so far I have not used it
consistently, but just picked it up and peered sourly through it at nasty
parts of a chart where the symbols were very difficult to tell apart. It
worked for that.

Thanks Dawne, i won`t bother with it after that information! I have a
little magnifying glass hanging from my work lamp for such eventualities!!!
The "Thingy" is pretty expensive just to get for the sake of having it -
money better spent on stash!

If it is the one I have, it is a long bar of a kind of plexiglass
material--and I found that while it magnified the particular line it is on,
it obscures the lines above and below. I usually work in blocks of a
colour rather than by whole line, so didn't like working with it in place.
