On my way home from the doctor's this morning we stopped at the
discount book store again... every time I go in there there are more
additions to the quilting book selections. And today they were having a
50% off sale on the already discounted books.
I bought 2 books "Quilt as you go" (retail $19.95) for $4.50 and
"Quilts with a view" (retail $29.95) for $4.00. With taxes the total
cost was $9.01. I am such a happy camper. I have wanted both these
books and was thrilled to find them. They have a few other ones there
too that I may just go back and get because I don't have them already
and I am very 'bad' when it comes to quilting books. And with this
sale the price is definitely right. I am very pleased with the books I
have purchased lately at the "discount books" outlet near me. It is the
same company as the 'discount books' via Amazon. I thought their prices
were reasonable, but this is so much better. No S&H or waiting... Now
to sit down and take a good look at these new treasures. And begin
thinking about the next projects I want to do.
