Messages

I subscribe to this group as well as about 10 others using Agent. For
some reason, the messages in this group are appearing one after the
other instead of the first message showing how many responses there
are.

The first thing I did was check any settings, but since all the other
newsgroups read correctly, I assume it is something particular to this
one group. Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?

How the messages sort depends exclusively on your newsreader. In my
version of Agent I set Messages|Sort by|Thread and everything sorts
heirarchically (sp).

Reply to the list as I do not publish an email address to USENET.
This practice has cut my spam by more than 95%.
Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account...

Check the sort option for this group. Newsreaders will allow a different
sort order for each group if you want, rather than a universal one.
