Default Hi all Newbie here

Hi Everyone -
I wanted to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Melissa and I am a
knitting newbie LOL! I have been knitting now for about 6 months. I always
wanted to learn how and I picked up one of those Learn to Knit for Kids books
and so far I made my first scarf ( yippee! LOL) I am now starting my first
afghan that my family will use for the upcoming winter. Keep all your fingers
crossed - better yet cross your toes too LOL. I hope to gab with all of you
soon. Have a great weekend!

Keep your needles crossed, I'd say. :-) Congratulations on finishing the
scarf. With afghans, I think it's best to just keep at it. Don't wait
for a large block of time. If you have a free few minutes, do a row or
even part of a row; it all adds up. And never count up how many stitches
are in it!

Welcome, Melissa. I am definitely NOT a newbie, but I still learn new things
about knitting on a regular basis.

Hi Melissa,

You've come to the right place as we love to talk and share what we are making.
Congratulations on learning to knit. Now what design are you using for the
afghan and where do you live that you will need it for the cold of winter, just
curious.

Hi there Melissa, welcome from South East England, and well done for finally
learning to knit. This is just the start of a great new yarncraft adventure,
I hope you enjoy it as much as we all do
