I am trying to combine several pieces of natural rope in a decorative manner
in order to tie two pieces of wood together in a cross shape. Could anyone
help me?
Thank you,
Robert

Robert,
You may be referring to a lashing, however this is done using one
piece of rope. Hae a look at
http://www.inquiry.net/outdoor/skill...b/lashings.htm
and see if this is what you mean.
