Such an animal?
I've been doing some google searching and basically shopping around,
but haven't found what I'm looking for. I have used some of the "kitchen" cotton yarn. The thin #100 Lion Brand. What I have been looking for is a cotton yarn that is more bulky. All the cotton online I can find is quite thin. Nice but too thin for what I want. I know there are some cotton blends that probably are thicker. Just wondering if anyone has run accross any thicker cotton yarns online? Or if there even is such an animal. Maybe cotton doesn't work well more bulky. Thanks. Daniel |

They list a `Cotton Quick and Thick' which has been discontinued, but you might be able to dig it up somewhere. sue |

Try Araucania Nature Cotton. It is a bulky weight cotton. I have only used
it to knit a dishcloth so I do not know how it would work on anything else. Marilyn "Daniel" wrote in message ... It's fairly thick, about DK weight I think, and comes in big cones just like yarn does. =Tamar |

Hi Daniel,
I received the new Lion Brand catalog in the mail yesterday and on page 32 is Lion Cotton, which is a 4-ply worsted weight 100% cotton. You could also find it on their website I would imagine. www.lionbrand.com. HTH, Nora |
