Default Cheap S.E.X. today!!

DH and I went to a "Trash and Treasures" Sale this am at a nearby community
center. One lady had a few charts, which I helpfully relieved her of, for 50
cents. Then at another table was a box full of crafty magazines, all for 10
cents each. I skimmed through, pulled out a lot of older mags that I was
unfamilar with; and found a couple of new Alma Lynnes ; however the
piece-de-resistance was................Flower Power!! The whole thing. The
bad news is that DH thought it would be LOVELY above the fireplace, why
don't I stutch it this summer?!!! He should be so lucky; we would both be
old, blind and decrepit by the time I finished that monster. It is fun to
look at and daydream over, though.

Yes, Gillian! Why don't you give up cooking, cleaning, and sleeping, and
stitch it this summer? If DH wants it that badly, he should be pleased to pick
up the slack so you can spend every waking moment stitching.

Why not get your DH to stitch it?

Well, Jim,

Simple answer! It has no power switch, no LED lights, no circuitry, in
other words, it is not a computer or a radio. Jim is Mr High Tech. Now, I DO
think I could get him interested in design software, he is forever
downloading such things for me! LOL. He says he couldn't work on such fiddly
things, but he has no problem in doing very fine soldering, and tinkering in
the innards of electronic devices.

I think I will stay with what I like, and he can play with his toys!!

Exactly, great idea Jim!

Many, many years ago, I found a chart for an airplanewith the markings of the
USAF Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team -- dh thought it would be lovely
to stitch four of them in their traditional "diamond formation."

I told him no way I'm going to stitch the same thing four times -- so he did
it, adjusting along the way for perspective, for pete's sake.

It still hangs proudly in his office. Nobody ever believes he did it though
