Default Firehouse Angel Project

It looks good, but there's a typo in this sentence...2,792 lost there lives
in this attack...try their. Also prospective should be perspective. Other
than that - good job!

Let me know, based on your monitors and browsers, how this looks.
Typeface too huge? Too small?
Things squished together? Too far apart?

Thanks.
Dianne

Na. I prefer the typos. Actually, Beth Katz has caught a few more
glitches. I'll get 'em.

This is NOT beautiful. I wanted to do something special, but I figured
this wouldn't be on line that long to spend all that time on it. I have
asked Marilyn about pic. I didn't want this to be so full of graphics
it took 50 years to download.

Anyone else have trouble with the flash header? The main words at the
top? Inquiring minds want to know.

Viewing on a 17" monitor set at 1024x768 - looks excellent to me. I
love the brick background, and the cream text background coordinates
quite well. And the fonts look perfect on my screen.
I'm sure by now someone alerted you to the misspelled link above,
right? Easily rectified once I saw the missing E, so no worries.

Yeah. I took out the flash header and replaced it with graphic text.
That solves that problem. :-) Hubby likes all that techy stuff. I
prefer plain brown manila envelopes. :-)

Funny. It's not black - it's dark brown - a shade of the brick.
Monitors just don't let us see all these colors sometimes.

I didn't get a flashing header (yay, cause I dislike flashing stuff on
my screen). The title was solid black with shadow lettering, which I
liked.

Lucky me--I didn't get the flash header. The sight is wonderful. Thanks
for all the hard work.

I have been stitching on it already Victoria , I was waiting to hear if
anybody was ready for it next so I can either send it back to Tia or on to
the next person - I'm sorry I hadn't realised i was holding things up.?

Here we are in the new year. Happy to all. I think now we should start

moving
a bit on the traveling project. I do believe it's been out there for

several
months and I would like to see it moving a bit now the holidays are over.

If, at any time, a person cannot stitch within a week of its arrival,

please
send it to the next person who can stitch within a week of arrival. We

have 17
people wanting to stitch with a tentative goal finish date before 9-11-04.

That
would include any finishing and framing.

Jan, you have it in the UK, right? Will you be doing your stitching on it

in
the next week? If not, we have to work something out. We each can't have

it
for months. Let us know what's happening and we can come up with a

reasonable
fix.

Peace be with you all in the new year,
Victoria
