cameras & scanners -thread

I seem to have lost this thread. does someone have the name and model of the
camera the person in NZ used to get that picture of the circuit board????
I thought I wrote it down but can't find it now.

specific closeup needs for electronic circuits & just couldn't get
good results from my usual batch of digitals, since most max. out at a
handspan. HOWEVER - the new budget Olympus D-540 (known as C-310 here
in NZ) is a closeup winner & it's supermacro goes to under an inch
(20mm). Best of all, is that it's CHEAP (~ US$170 ), uses 2 AA NiMH, &

Just FIY, anytime you need to find something on a newsgroup like this, go to
Google Groups where you can search an individual group by keyword. If it's
something recent like this thread, you can always sort the results by date.
I searched for 'camera' by date and found my thread there. Here's the URL
