Six inch Square Exchange....
It is just a two square exchange, Sign ups for this are the last week of
every month, When everyone has signed up, partners are made up, (by me I'm
afraid) and then I shove the list of partners on the list, they contact
each other off list to get one anothers snail mail addy and any other info,
colours yarn etc. and then settle down to knit or crochet, two squares each
measuring 6inches, in the colour choice of their partners. The patterning
is up to the individual artiste'... These have to be mailed by the 20th of
each Month, So everyone on it at the moment is doing the September
exchange. Soon as everyone has received, they put up a header/subject
thread on the list..."6x6 Received" then I cross them off. Soon as that is
done, I will then call for signups again for the October List. Once
everyone has signed up, I will make up the list again of partners, the more
signups we get the more amount of different partners you get. Those on
the September 6x6 exchange now, will also have to re-sign up again for the
October exchange, as I won't be taking anything for granted. If someone is
going to be away during the last week of the month when signups are called
for, they can email me off list to be put on, a week earlier.
