In my quilting bee to celebrate 10 years we have to make a 6" block to
express who we are! We've been given the background fabric - cream. We
can use whatever technique we want and colours are a palette of greens
golds and blues and anything that matches!

OK, what can I do! I want to express that I'm a little crazy, I'm about
to move to France, I'm far from quiet! and it's got to be quick and
easy, as I don't have much freetime at the moment!

Thinking along the lines of a frog, bottle of wine or something like
that. Maybe something abstract - I just don't know.

Thanks

It's soooooo obvious! A crazy quilt block with "loud" colors, and a
frog and wine- either appliqued or find a pieces of fabric with a frog
and a wine bottle! g I'm thinking the center should be the cream
background with a frog applique' (you should be able to find a ready
made frog applique' at a sewing and notions store???) or a button
shaped like a frog and go from there. The wine could even be a piece
of "wine" colored fabric. It only needs about 5 pieces of fabric for a
6 in. block.

some burgundy, blue and yellow (blue and yellow being often called "French"
by fabric manufacturers) make a crazy quilt square

Use the cream as a foundation and make a crazy pieced frog and bottle of
wine applique.
