OT - Hey! I'm back (long)
Hello everybody! Well, finally found out how to set this back up.
Paid dial up so no more time limit. Now for the catch-up. Sorry to hear about Rebekah. Good luck with the auctions. Sending as many positive vibes as I can share. Going through that kind of treatment is stressful for all involved (been there, done that) Kathy N-V - Sounds good on the pain front. Hope it works out and I'm glad you've got good people around you (even the ones no one else thinks are) Sooz - glad you got Merc back. Sorry it's been so long. Hope everything else is going good. Everyone else (sorry if I'm not too detailed but I quickly skimmed through 7000+ msgs last night so if I missed something, oops) I wish you all the best. Everyone with headaches/migraines - I hope they're not too debilitating and they go away. I know some of you have been making some beautiful things but right now, time isn't really on my side. I think I'm becoming Russian (rushing around, get it?) Well, for me, the kids are doing great but life isn't. The state's involved. Even to the point of going to court and the state getting custody. I can't even let the kids play outside because I'm not "right there" to watch them every second of every day. I'm going to try not to go into details because it's a big mess. Hearing the DA is involved. Pushing everything. Bringing up one incident from DH's past (25 years ago) that could have had either him or the kids out of the house. At least I got a compliment from the worker that the house looked pretty good (hey, I try) Still looking for a bigger place to live but not having much luck. There might be funds so we can at least put a fence around the front yard (yeah, like we could afford to do that) DH has been handling this pretty well. No major episodes (even though this kind of stress is liable to send him off the deep end) Any questions anyone might have, let me know via e-mail and I'll share as much as I'm comfortable with (way too much in most cases) and have time for. Just wanted to check in and say hi. And I'm still around. Later, Helen C OBR - uploaded some newer things to beadershaven if anyone wants to take the time. Some done a while ago but still new to you. Got more but that involves switching computers G |

Helen,
So glad to see you back. I was going to write you today - at least a quick note. Been thinkin' about you and haven't had time to call, either. It seems I'm either working or chasing the baby. You KNOW what that's like. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I know I'm far away, but I'm a good 'ear'. :-0 Hugs to you all! Barb |

Thanks to all who responded. Just knowing that you are all here is
good enough for me. Did you know you're a support group? At least you are for me. Which explains why I've been going nutz trying to figure out how to read this darned thing. Found a free news server and plugged it into outlook but not sure how to set it up for posting so I do that through google. Makes it interesting. Agree about DH leaving before the kids. Not even a question there but need to find him a "safe" place. Since I'm basically the only one that can handle him. But if it comes down to it, he got by without me before, he can do it again. Same for me. And in some ways it would make my life easier (more boring, but easier) But that's a worst case scenario. So, if anyone has any advice, feel free to share it with me. Maybe it'll help me. Or give me some ideas. I sure missed all of you. Very much. Even with all the good, bad and otherwise. Especially with all of that. Helps put things into perspective. Take care and hugs to those who need them, Helen C |
