Default DMC six strand glow in the dark floss

has anyone worked with this stuff?

is the trick just to do very short lengths or is there some other glow
in the dark that won't make me insane to work with.

It's a project for a friend of DD's who has a lot in common with Margaret!

HELP ME! LOL

It's just icky. Shortish lengths works better. Personally, I prefer using
the Kreinik glow in the dark stuff. It's definitely better to work with
IMSHO, and comes in a handful of colors, and weights. I used the orange and
flourescent pale green in a Halloween piece on 18 ct canvas, but they have
it in the fine & very fine sizes.

LOL - I can imagine you've been tangling with the DMC stuff. Seriously, try
the Kreinik. How soon do you need it - you should be able to get it at any
LNS that has their stuff. Else, LMK - if you don't need a lot I can send
you from my stash, if you need more, easy enough to get for you. What
fabric are you working on?

well, all I'm trying for in her first initial, for a humbug to put on
her key ring. I've played with a few different washable fabrics for effect.

And it seems like I should be using all six strands on 10 count black to
see the stuff and get some glow.....

I tried using this as alternative colorway on a blackwork pumpkin.
Thought I could use the whitish color on black fabric. Nope. Anything
more than one strand looked horrid as blackwork. And anything less
than three didn't have enough glow.

Sorry!
