You'll learn professional techniques for replacing glass, repairing and restoring rot, re-fabricating woodwork and more. Tyler Hays, founder and creative director of BDDW, joins us for a frank discussion about the realities of a career in furniture design. May 22 10:00am– 4:00pm 103-90539 Sculpture In Wood Learn to create sculpture using wood as the primary material. Explore the shaping and sculpting of wood using a variety of power and hand tool methods. Various carving and assemblage techniques will also be introduced and students will be instructed on how to finish and display wooden sculptures.
