Default OT - time for an update

I have survived driving in all kinds of Midwest weather for 12 days, some of
which scared me to death. But I did it! : )

DH's blood is coming into the range they want it, but very slowly. That's
fine, I know this will work itself out. He has lost a great deal of the use
of his right arm. He's a process mechanic for a living, so he sort of needs
to get that back to say the least. They are trying to get him home by the
week-end, and then he will have a couple months of PT and recovery at home.
He heart is still in atrial fibrillation, but they can send him home with
that as long as his labs turn out right. So that's the update. He has a
several month long uphill battle ahead of him to get his right arm back.
But he's a fighter, and........ he's got ME helping him! I'm taking another
week off before I start teaching piano.

Okay, checking back out now. I'm gonna go watch a movie under the
influence, and go to bed.

I'll check back in a couple of days. Again, thank you SO much for
everything. Bob is delighted to be getting his own cards from my quilting
friends on rctq. He thinks it's really cool that you would do that for him.
Thanks.

Yay! Fighting spirit - that's good to see!

Excellent idea. He'll need a lot of emotional support too in the coming
months, so take care that you are fit to do that... And shout when help
is needed.

Okay, checking back out now. I'm gonna go watch a movie under the
influence, and go to bed.

Sounds good...

Of course we will.

Thanks for the update. I am glad to read that he is improving. He will be
happy to get home and begin the recovery. Hugs to you and DH, Linda in Tx

That's really hopeful, Karen.
Thanks so much for letting us know. Please give Bob my very best of
good wishes for good progress during that (what can be) boring time of
recovery. Take care and don't rush it. Tortoise and hare comes to
mind!
Well done to you for conquering all the tiredness and fears that you
have had to endure during this time.

He'll feel so much better when he's home. My father always improved so
much after he came home.
Just take it easy and don't get run down yourself.
