May we all echo your sentiments to all we meet this year. Words to
contemplate as we await the passage of the last 4 hours of 2003. Thank
you, Signe

It's also turned 2004 here, so here's all the best to everyone on rcty,

and
wishes that we'll each find that the New Year beings us all we would wish
ourselves. And that there will be peace, harmony and prosperity all over
this beautiful planet of ours.
Happy 2004 to one and all

At 12:00 AM last night I was standing in the break room with three nurses
watching the ball drop in Times Square. I'm a nurses' aide and worked last
night. After the ball dropped the night was like every other night, except
for one thing--I kept writing 1/1/2003 on everything...sighs.

But reflecting on the New Year did remind me why I chose to go to nursing
school and work as an aide in the meantime. As Mirjam said, the future is
good.

And...to paraphrase something said at the end of Shabbat on Saturday night:

A good year, a year of peace, may gladness reign and joy increase.

Very nice thoughts, Isabel.
Happy New Year to you, too.
