Teach me about postings please

I posted a question on 1/1 and several people were kind enough to respond.
I followed up with two more responses to people's postings but I don't see
my responses on the listings. I clicked on "send to group" and when asked
if I wanted this to go to "all" I said yes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

can you please provide us what your using to read the newsgroup?

when your on RCTQ, posting a message should be just like sending an
email.. other then the to line will say rec.crafts.textiles.quilting
I find that using just the reply button works,,
If this doesn't help, let us know.
