Default What fabric is this?

Can anyone tell me what (type) of fabric is being used for this
bedskirt? I have been trying to identify and locate this fabric for
two weekends. So far.. no luck.

It looks like it might be Panne Velvet. That would be a silky feel and an
ombre look.

Well, Lucille thought it might be panne' velvet and it could be. I think it
looks more like a metallic -- either one of the knit ones or lame'. If it's
lame', it would be the type that is gold threads in one direction and black
threads in the other direction. If it's a metallic knit (this is more likely
as it's cheaper) then it would be knit with black & gold threads together.
You might be having trouble finding it now because it could have been sold
out during the holiday season. Whether it's velvet, lame' or knit, it's a
standard "in stock" fabric at both Joanns and Hancock. Look in the Bridal or
formal wear fabric sections. If it's the knit, then it will be with the less
expensive fabrics. Let us know if you find it, OK? CiaoMeow ^;;^
