Help identifying antique ring

I am looking for some help identifying an antique ring that my wife
recently inherited...

It is a pyramid or cone shaped gold ring with 27 various types of
stones covering the pyramid/cone. We believe it was crafted in Japan
at least 40 years ago. The inside of the ring bears both the "14K" as
well as a graphic of a quater moon and a star that closely resembles
the graphic on the flag of Turkey.

If anyone can point me to the best place to go to get assistance in
identifying this ring, it would be greatly appreciated. I can also
provide pictures if needed.
